Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in District of Columbia
Ethical conduct
What should one do when they
retain an attorney to work for
them in defending their civil rights
in the work force, and what happens is just the opposite? Should one report this unethical
conduct to the American Bar Assoc.
to have them investigate the situation? My understanding is that when one retains an attorney
to fight for them that they will do so
without holding back any secrets
or conversations that he/she had
with the employees supervisors or
their HR, or EEOC Office? I have
friends who are attorney's and they
suggest that I report the incident to
the American Bar Assoc. and ask
them to investigate. What do many of the attorney's who respond these questions feel or
think about my question? I would
appreciate hearing from you on
this topic. Thank you.

Re: Ethical conduct
I think that general allegations such as the one made here need many more relevant specifics as to the incident alleged before any credible opinion might (or should)be offered.
