Legal Question in Personal Injury in Florida
Juristiction in auto accident suit.
We were injured in an auto accident in Florida, but are residents of Texas. Can we file suit in Texas? The defendant would be a national trucking company, registered in another state.

You may be able to file suit in Federal Court based on diversity of citizenship depending on Trucking company's state of residency & amount in controversy. We have had good luck in the Eastern District of Texas with such cases.
