Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Florida
Bankruptcy
I would like to file bankruptcy. I am single and have had to retire. I own a automobile outright. Its value is around 12,000. The title is in my name and my ex-husbands name as he took out the loan and made the payments for me. I have the documentation to prove that. My question is, will I lose that automobile if I file chapter 7?

Re: Bankruptcy
The answer depends upon the amount of the loan and lien amount now owed on the car title.
