Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Florida
Selling of Property
I file BK on July 21, 2001.
My 341 hearing is August 21, 2001.
My home (property) is not part of the BK.
When may I list this home for sale?
More importantly -- when may I close?
Do I need to file any document to do so?
The only info. I've received is that I can't
do so without the consent of my trustee.
My trustee told me to consult my laywer.
My lawyer wants more money.
Please Help----

Normally as follows: property claimed exempt may be objected to for up to 30 days after the 341 meeting of creditors. You must wait therefore wait until after that to sell the property. I would also consult your title company as they often require court approval. Good luck
