Legal Question in Business Law in Florida
Commercial Truck Lease
I leased a dump truck to start a business but they sold me a lemon and it was in the repair shop for over two months. The tab was $6000.00 and company paid but I lost money because the truck was not working plus I had to pay the other $1400.00 they refused to cover. I could not afford to keep the truck and after leasing for only four months and returning because unaffordable and it was still not road worthy according to D.O.T.. Now they want $23,000.00 and keep threatening me with court, garnished wages, losing my house, and more. Can they really do all this?

Re: Commercial Truck Lease
It depends on your sales agreement and any warranties. You should consult local counsel or my office if you would like to discuss the matter in more detail.
