Legal Question in Business Law in Florida
non- solicitation agreement
When first hired by my current employer I signed a non-solicitation agreement stating that ''Employee agrees that he/she shall not, for a period of six (6) months contact any present or prospective dentist (I'm employed by a dental laboratory)to solicit such a person to enter into a contract with any organization- other than my current employer. I'm in the process of opening a small (one person) lab and am concerned with the prospective dentist issue. Can this agreement prevent me from solicitating all dentists, or just their current customers? Also, I never signed a non- compete agreement

Without reading the entire agreement, a definitive reply cannot be provided. I suggest you consult with counsel prior to taking action.
