my husband is out of state for 2 weeks, we are schedule to close on a personal loan, is there any way to have someone sign for him? Delay may result in the loan being delayed or cancelled.

Re: signature for loan
Get a power of attorney, if the bank will accept it. Can he sign it before he leaves? That would solve the problem entirely.
