If I signed a noncompete agreement and I started a LLC company and then I got sued would they be able to sue the company or only me personally?

I am not a member of the Florida Bar. I can only speak in general terms. The non-compete agreement is between you and your former employer. It would be irrelevant if you formed an LLC, if you were in violation of the non-compete agreement. have an attorney review your agreement to determine your rights and limitations.

Good luck.

To the other attorney answer, I can only add that if your LLC was involved in the prohibited noncompete areas, and the LLC is really you, it may be sued as well. Whether the other side would ultimately prevail against the LLC is too speculative at this point. Consult with a good business attorney in your area for specific advice.

They would sue, and file for an injunction against everyone and everything you are connected to. At least that is what would do if I represented the other party, and it was a valid non-compete provision. And I am a Florida Attorney.
