Legal Question in Business Law in Florida
I have just started working part time as a mystery shopper but someone suggested that I should make a business out of it "d.b.a. do I need to get a license?

That depends. If you are an employee of the company for whom you are shopping, you likely do not need a license or business registration. However, if you are an independent contractor, it might be wise to set up a business entity and or obtain a business license for the state and/or county where you are working.
