statue of limitation on a loan
Mybrother and i signed a note of 8k on 06/12/2002. The person we owed money to died in Mar 2003.Tthe estate filed a suit in Nov 2007- 5Yrs and fourmonths later. We had never paid any interest or principle on the note and no demand were ever made. Does the statue of limitation apply?

There is a 6 year statute of limitations on written contracts.
