Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Florida

automobile financing

I'm currently finaning a car for a relative of mine, we have come to certain misunderstanding about life and other problems. I would like to know what are legal powers that I have to take the car back. This has escalated to a point of no return but it must be done. Now she is a co-signer in the loan, how much power does she have over the vehicle??

Re: automobile financing

It depends on who titled the vehicle. If the vehicle is titled in her name, you cannot just take it back. If it is titled in your name, you can get it back but using self-help is dangerous and you might be better served using an attorney to get a a court order.
