payroll check bounced
i worker or a company until my paycheck bounce and it been a month and i havent been paid how can i go about making them pay me.

There is a Florida bad check statute where a certain letter is sent and if they don't pay, then you can sue them for three times the amount of the check plus attorneys fees. There may also be violations of the Fair Labor Standards Act. Feel free to call or e-mail me with any questions.

If its under 5,000, you can file suit in small claims court. Otherwise you can hire an attorney to make a demand on them and perhaps claim civil theft and demand 3 times the amount owed. If you would like to discuss this, please call my office.
