Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Florida
Last year I left my now ex-husband because the relationship was abusive. I vacated the home that we leased together, he remained. The injunction states he was to remain in the home and I was to leave. (I was able to move in with family and he had no other alternatives.) Since then he has been evicted, leaving me with an eviction under my name also. How can I go about getting this expunged?? Can I possibly get this expunged on my own? How much does an attorney coat for something like this?

This is not something that can be expunged. It is not like a criminal conviction. You can contact the credit reporting agencies to dispute the issue by explaining the circumstances of the eviction and hopefully they will removethe reference.
