Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida
Where to apply for a small claims claim.
Hi,
I live in New York City. I am disabled. I would like to take a car dealer to Small Claims Court. I don't know if I can file here in New York of if I have to go to Florida. I am disabled and have a hard time getting around. Please help.

Your question has too few facts to allow me to provide you with a meaningful reply. Suffice it to say that if there is a basis for the NY courts to exercise jurisdiction, then you can sue in NY. If not you must sue in Fl.
