Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida

Bad repair in transmission causes failure in trip

I had my motor, transmission, and other major repairs done in a auto shop here in Florida. Three days after I took the car for vacation in Mexico the tranmission failed. The tranmission repair was under warranty. The repair bill specifies transmission rebuild for $1,200.00. Total bill was $3,700. During the repairs of the tranmission found that a bolt had a missing nut and could have caused a deadly accident.

I am taking the auto shop to small claims court.

Questions

1) Am I entitled damages caused because of the failed

tranmission like rental car, bus fares to send my family to the vacation destination, food and 2 days of hotel caused by the delay?

2) Can I also expect to get a refund of the services done by the autoshop?

3) Do pictures and bills from another country hold as evidence in a small claims court in Mexico?

If you can establish liability, then you can seek the damages you described.

I have no idea about anything to do with the courts of Mexico.
