Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida
New car or Used car
I recently found that the 2000 Toyota Corolla I purchased as new in June of 2000 had suspension repairs made prior to my purchase of the vehicle.
This was brought to my attention by a Toyota dealer in Maryland while performing a state inspection. The dealer where the car was purchased from denies ant repairs were made. Did I buy a new car or do I have recourse to recoop any or all of the purchase price?

Re: New car or Used car
If the car was indeed repaired before you got it, then it was not new, and you should be given the difference. You may have to file suit to recover, judging by the response from the dealer. You would need the testimony of the second dealer to prove that the repairs were actually made before you brought the car. - Michael Worsham.
