If the credit card company sued you and won the case, then it obtained a judgment against you for a specific amount of money. Once it has a judgment, it can do several things to collect from you. One of those things is to have the Sheriff's Office seize your car. The Sheriff's Office will give you the chance to get your car back if you pay the amount of the judgment, plus the costs for seizing the car. If you don't pay that total amount, the Sheriff's Office wills sell your car and give the money to the credit card company to pay the judgment.

You may be exempt from having your car seized, however. If you are exempt, then you have to file something in court objecting to the seizure of your car. If you wait too long, you may waive the right to object to the seizure of the car.
