Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida
collecting a judgment
I won a judgment against both a used car dealer and its sole propriator. In spite of numerous letters and phone calls, I have not received the money owed --nor any response whatsoever. I have recorded the final judgment. What is my next step. Can I request levy upon a car on the business' lot, in order to sell to fulfill the judgment?

Re: collecting a judgment
Have the company fill out the company "Fact Information Sheet" which is in the civil rules of procedure. After that, there are a variety of other things you can do to levy on assets, bank accounts, etc.
