Credit Debt for Elderly

Recently found out my elderly mom has unpaid credit card dept that she can NOT pay back, because she has no money. She has no will, no property, is in very limited social security income, & has become very ill. Can the credit card company make my me pay it back?

No. You are not responsible for your mother's debts. If she passes away, only her estate can be held responsible from her assets, if any.
