jugdement against me

i have judgement against me that is well over my states statue of lilmitaion over 8 yrs old, should i contact the lawyers who sent judgement , or show up to court, i was told thats the worst to do is show up.

A judgment is good for ten years from the date of recording a certified copy. An eight year old judgment would be would therefore still be valid. The statute of limitations has nothing to do with judgments.
