putting a lien on somones property in a different state

i am from pennsylvania and there is a person who broke a real estate contract for purchase of a house. they own property in florida. can i attach a lien to their florida property from my state through a civil case?

You first must file suit and get a judgment in PA, then you file to domesticate the judgment in FL (under the "full faith and credit" doctrine), THEN you may be able to file a lien on the FL property, I don't know the specifics of the applicable FL law.

No. Your State has no extra judicial power beyond your state's geographic boundary.

In the proceeding to domesticate the judgment you might have obtained, you may file a lis pendeds if title to the property is at issue.
