Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida
Reposession Laws
I have a 4 wheeler that is on the repo list. They have been trying to get to me to get it, they have harassed me over the phone, harassed my boyfriend, my Gradmother. They even threatened her that they were going to come on the property and break into the sheds and take the ATV. They keep calling her at her house where I live discussing my debt, Is there a law against that?

No, these communications are improper nor should they threaten to break into the sheds to retrieve the vehicle. You may wish to speak with an attorney who is familiar with the Fair Debt Credit Practices Act which sets forth the rights and responsibilities of a creditor and debtor in this situation. You can read about it at wikipedia at: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fair_Debt_Collection_Practices_Act
