If a 21 year old has a consentual sexual encounter with a 14 year old and it results in a child. Can it still be prosecuted 9 years later?

Possibly. The reason I can't be more specific is that, depending on the facts, certain circumstances of the sexual encounter may rise to a different level and have no statute of limitations. In other words, it is possible that you could be prosecuted at any time from now until the day you die. However, your best case scenario, because due to her age is that it is still first degree felony punishable by up to 30 years in prison. The statute of limittions runs for 4 years after she turns 18. You should contact an attorney and give more details so that you know where you stand.
