Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
I have an active criminal warrant in Florida and am planning to move to another state.
The warrant is more than 7 years old.
If I have an outstanding criminal warrant in Florida can I move to another state and live without being extradited back to Florida?

You can move and risk not being extradited, but the warrant will never go away until you address it. Even if the state you move to doesn't extradite at that time doesn't mean the warrant goes away either. If you move again, or fly somewhere they you risk the warrant being served. Every time you are stopped, the warrant will reappear and you will still have to deal with this. My suggestion is that you deal with this now before you leave. After you leave it will only get worse. Feel free to contact me if you wish.
