Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

just convicted of assualt on law enforcement and resisting w/o violence-complete and utter abuse of authority by Fl. FWC. I took polygraph exam w/ near complete opposite story of this officer but it was not allowed to be introduced as evidence. So, it ended up being my word against a lying FWC officer.

Why is such relevant evidence inadmissable? You know how it played out... !

Polygraphs are inadmissible because of the danger that they are not scientifically reliable. If there were scientifically reliable then you could have it admitted, but we are not there yet. As far as how it played out, hopefully you went to trial, your attorney was able to cross examine the officer and expose his lies and you were found not guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. If you chose to plea, then that's your decision.
