Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

My daughter, now 37 fell in with a wild crowd as a teen & as a result has two felony convictions for drug possession as a result. She finally got her act together & has been clean for 10 years or more & is currently working for a local doctor & is very good at her job. The problem is the doctor is about to retire & almost everyone does background checks nowadays. Is there anything she can do to clean up her record?

Probably not since she was convicted. However, she needs to stress her experience and the fact that her former employer was well aware of it. Her employer now should write a strong recommendation and even address the felonies in the recommendation letter so that she is up front about it. Her employer should write about how it has not been a big deal and has been clean for 10 years. Other than that there is little, legally, that can be done.
