Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

I was an employee at a Burlington Coat Factory. Three former co-workers gathered a box of merchandise and I knowingly allowed them to put the merchandise in my car. we ended up getting caught. We were all charged with Grand Theft. I am currently in a Pre-Trail Intervention Program. Its my first time getting in trouble. So now my question to you is could I still work for law enforcement or be a corrections officer? It won't be a conviction.. but I did take the plea which is why I am in the P.T.I program. Thanking you in advance.

You will always have to disclose it but since you did not get convicted and wisely took the PTI, then it will be up to the agency whether or not they choose to hold it against you.
