Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
a friend of mine is in jail for 12 burglaries in florida. the dna swab test he submitted to came back as no match. Can the state still find him guilty with no matching dna?

Yes. Do you think they never got convictions before DNA? There could be eyewitnesses, video, or co-defendants who say it was him, or any number of other reasons. That said, DNA is powerful evidence and hopefully his attorney will use that to raise reasonable doubt.
