Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

I had a friend of ten years that i've helped through thick and thin. Well, it turns out he's stolen from us. I've let him borrow money, around 700.00. The latest thing is I've had heart surgery and have been in Rehab. When I got home, I went online to check out my checking account and found out that, this friend, had stolen two checks from my dresser and cashed them at Amscot. How do I go about pressing charges?

You call the police, and have them investigate and forward any appropriate charges to the State Attorney for your county.
