Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

I often and on several occasions took candy from a candy store by eating it right out of the bin. After doing it again, I was chased down by an employee outside of the store with the warning, "If you take candy from my store again I'm going to call security on your a**" " I was warned by an employee that all the managers know about I returned to the store, said I was sorry, said it will never happen again and offered to pay for whatever I had eaten. He said, "As long as it doesn't happen again we're cool." Do I have anything to worry about?

What you did was theft. However, based on what you posted, I don't think you have anything to worry about. Also don't tempt fate in the future.
