Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

I am currently on probation for my 1st DUI with early termination.i have to complete the DUI course and serve 50 hours of community service. Once completed i am off probation. My question is,

Since i can't drive, i applied for local jobs within walking distance from my apartment. My third day working i served alcohol to a minor. I checked his ID but was off by a year. The cop came in the store and gave me a notice to appear in court. What is the worst that can happen to me with probation? The owners were some Indian people that left me in the store by myself on the 3rd day. I am a student in Florida and i was really upset when i received that misdemeanor?

I am pretty scared.

Simply put, you could get jail time imposed -up to 6 months.

You certainly could be facing jail due to the violation of probation. There are alternatives however. Although not usually available to people with priors, I have gotten clients in similar situations, diversion programs. However, even if you got that or a good deal on the new misdemeanor charge, that doesn't change the state's ability to prove a wilful violation. That, however, may ultimately be your best defense.
