Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
Received a Cease and Desist letter for Harassment in the state of Florida. This letter comes directly from the individual that wants to be left alone. It is notarized and gives me 10 days to send back signed to avoid further legal action. After receiving the letter I have ceased all communications according to the guidelines within the letter. I do not want to sign and return because I do not want to provide any document that seems like a submission of guilt. Can that individual proceed with any criminal or legal action if I do not sign and return? I just want to be sure he cannot do anything if I leave him alone and not submit the letter back with a signature.

This is not a criminal law question. Cease and desist issues are civil matters so you need to talk to a civil law attorney in your area and they should be able to assist in your matter.
