Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
(WA) I was arrested in 2012 for violating a restraining order for someone else. In 2017, there is still an effect on my name from this false imprisonment. Do I have a case against the county despite the statute of limitations of 2 years?

I assume by the word effect you mean it still on your record. This is a civil question so I don't know for sure but I don't believe you would have a case against the county. That being said you should probably file a motion with the court so that it is cleared from your record. Talk to an attorney in your area of the location where this happened and they should be able to help you.
