Legal Question in Discrimination Law in Florida

wrongful termination

10/05 i started work at xyz liquors & due to some mising inventory & they couldnot prove who was taking it management did criminal background check and over the phone they told me because of my criminal history theyll take me off the schedule, i didnt not take inventory i know who was though, i worked w/3-4 other co workers 2black 2white and manager latino. i was up for the asst. manager postion also is this wrongful termination?

If you tell me that people of one race with a criminal background were dismissed while those of a different race who had a criminal background were not dismissed, then I might see some discrimination. If you were the only one with a criminal conviction and were the only one dismissed, I am less inclined to see the dismissal was based on your race or national origin. If you know who did steal the inventory, then I would also want to know why you did not report that person.
