wrongful imprisonment
my dad is 72 and was just arrested today on a charge of dui death resulting. this charge took place in 1996. during this time my father and I lived in RI. no where near the accident which occured in Miami. my dad is a victim of identity theft going as far back as 1972 and didnt know untill now. isnt the statute of limitations up, and if not what can i do to help him out. bail is set at 15,000 and we cant afford it. we are barely surviving as it is. please help!!!

Your father should apply for the Public Defender. His PD should then file for a bond reduction.
