Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

My 16 year old grandson wants to live with his mother. The parents are legally separated . Both sharing custody . Does he have a legal right at age 16 to move out of his fathers (ADOPTED) fathers house and not go back? He stays 3 days one week and 4 days the next week at both parents homes.

Your grandson is certainly at an age that he could speak in court as to his wishes. His mother will have to file a Petition to Modify the Custody and Visitation arrangements and file the proper documents to allow your grandson to speak up in court.
