Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I am 17 years old I will be 18 in August. I live in Naples, Florida My grandparents have legal custody of me although i live with my uncle due to my grandfather hurting me by pushing me, putting his hands around my neck, picking me up just to throw me down etc. My grandfather smokes weed, does coke, and drinks excessively with a 13 year old living with him. Yesterday i visited my grandparents house because my grandmother is sick. My grandfather told me I had an attitude and he put his hand around my neck. I have told my school authorities about this before as i didn't have a phone to call the police. Well i threatened to call the police and then I got kicked out of my uncles house and was told they are sending me to live with my biological mother in Missouri in which she is a drug addict she has three kids she cant provide for and she is in and out of the hospital. I haven't been with her since I was 5. At the moment I am staying with a friend and her family. Can They legally send me to my biological mother's?

Who is they? The only person who has custody of you is your grandmother and grandfather - if they don't change the custody order then they are responsible for you. Your uncle has no custody of you and cannot enforce that which he does not have. I see you are still in school. Perhaps you should locate the legal aid attorneys there in Naples and see if they can file an action for you or contact the Dept of Children and Family Services - 2295 Victoria Avenue, Fort Myers, FL (239) 332-2822 and see if they can help you.
