Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I had a baby boy he is 6 months old and the father just did an at home paternity test which means nothing so far. But he has a legal one scheduled for tomorrow, so I guess my question is what rights do I have as the mother once he signs the birth certificate? Does that mean he can just do what he wants and try and take my son???

If it is determined that he is the father - then the Dept of Revenue will order him to pay you child support. Other than that he has no rights. He will have to petition the court for visitation if that is what he wants and then you can decide what rights you will give him.
