Can a mother in the state of Missouri have 50 % of the fathers wages in the state of Florida garnished ? What happens to the fathers wife and new child now that he cannot afford to pay the up keep on the house and bills?

You should not rely on or take action based on this communication without first presenting ALL relevant details to a competent attorney in your jurisdiction and then receiving the attorney's individualized advice for you. By reading the "Response" to your question or comment, you agree that the opinion expressed is not intended to, nor does it, create any attorney-client relationship, nor does it constitute legal advice to any person reviewing such information, nor will it be considered an attorney-client privileged communication. If you do not agree, then stop right here, and do not read any further.
From the tone of your question, it appears that this is, in fact, happening. If you feel that this is improper, then you need to discuss all of the facts with an attorney who can review the case and advise you of your legal rights.
As a general rule, the children from the spouse's first family have priority over the needs of a second or third family. The courts take the approach that the second or third wife should have considered the husband's obligations prior to getting married or having children with him.
