Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

child support

My granddaughter is living with me and her mother is receiving the support payment through the State of CT and has not sent any thing, not even a birthday or christmas card. I have been to all the agancies to no avail. Where can I get some help, pronto? I know how to file appearances and motions, but have no idea where to go to get an appearance or the court clerk for the forms. I just get a run-around.

Re: child support

Unfortunately, the court system is difficult to navigate without an attorney. You would need to file a motion to modify, serve the other parties and get a court date.
