Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I am having custodial issues! My x is saying i will have to pay his lawyer fees? In our divorce there is a provision that says the noncomplying party shall pay attorney fees in our marital settlement agreement? Would that include child custody issues?

Non complying is a grey area that can be interpreted in many different ways. If you are deliberately keeping your child from the other parent, then yes you could be responsible for the attorney fees. However, in most cases, if both parents have an attorney and the custody issue is in the best interest of the child, then you may not be responsible. It will be up to the Judge.
