Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
My daughter is an IV drug user who prostitutes herself to fund her habit and is a very irresponsible mother. She disappears for days at a time without telling either myself and my wife. She lives in our house with her two beautiful daughters ages 6 and 7. She has been living here without paying for rent food or utilities for over a year. When she is home she spends most of her time locked in her room ignoring her children. I take the children to and from school everyday and my wife feeds bathes and clothes them. We just got into a fight with her after she took the kids in the middle of the night and was late dropping them off at school for the big school testing exam. She intends on keeping the children with her at one of john's. My question is how do we go about getting custody of the children for their safety? Your swift response is greatly appreciated.

You don't go looking for advice on the internet. You find a family law attorney in your hometown, today. This can be tricky and not something I would ever suggest someone do on their own.
Not sure where you reside however, contact a Family Law Attorney ASAP. You will need to file for emergency temporary custody until a hearing can be held.
Retain a family law attorney. A petition must be filed seeking temporary guardianship.
Hire a lawyer and consider petitioning for Guardianship of the children.
