Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
I am the daughter of a Korean and a Russian, but they have long been deceased; I have no family, I thus have no witness to my birth because it was home birth, which by my parents before their passing was decidedly left unregistered (my parents to a certain but small extent were antigoverment). I have no SSN and no license of any sort. I possess no single legal document that identifies me. But I certainly was born here.
I will soon be 18, and I want and need a bona fide job because I have overstayed my friends' welcome (they have allowed me to reside with them, have somewhat educated me, and in other ways supported me after my parents' death), but again, I have no proof of my existence.
I am afraid of someday being suspected as an illegal alien and later deported, all of which would very much be inappropriate because I truly am citizen. How can I get a birth certificate and an SSN so that I can later obtain a driver license and passport, have real job, buy a car, own a home, and in essence be a fully functioning member of society?

Suggest you speak with an immigration lawyer. Someone must know your family history.
The process is not as hard as you think. Go by the SS office and get an application for the SSN. You will have to produce an affidavit as to your birth. The instructions should be rather simple.
