Due to a divorce,my ex-husband was order by the courts to give me certain amount of money from the equity of a house bought during the marriage.He's giving me less than half of the amount.Do I have the right to ask for the amount order by the courts?

I agree with my fellow atty. You might want to look at the order and see if it was 1/2 of the proceeds after deducting the sale costs.

Yes. You can file for contempt if he is not following the order.
