Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
My fiance got divorced last year and the judge told the ex wife that she has to restore her last name back to her maiden name.It was also ordered on the final divorce papers that she had to change it and from that day forward would be known by her maiden name. She says it's legal for her to keep using his last name even though it was ordered to change it.Is it legal for her to do this.

If there is a court order requiring her to change her name then should she has to abide by the order. You may be able to file a motion to enforce the divorce judgment and for contempt due to her failure to change the name. I suggest you contact a lawyer for more information about your case.
