Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

if you file a restraining order on your babys father and the judge gives you custody of the children, can the mother get into trouble if she can't take both children due to her not having a place for both of them to sleep? the jugde does not know the mothers situation cause he granted an extention to the father for a future court date and the mother was not allowed to go talk to the jugde about any of this. she is not able to care for both kids and they are still at there dad's house can the mother be arrested for not complying with the custody order even if she can't physically provide a place for both kids?? please help
