Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
I found out my ex wife has a fake job in her father's investment banking firm that pays her a salary and provides her benefits for no work performed. I found this out just after we separated in 2015, but she just testified in Court to working as a consultant for the past seven years. seven years ago we lived in Colorado and she was unemployed while trying to finish writing a book. The four years prior to that she was receiving income and health insurance from somewhere despite only working for short periods at a couple of low paying part time jobs. I assumed from her parents were giving her money, but not from a no-show job thousands of miles away that has clearly been going on for much longer. Obviously I'm not particularly happy about finding out I was lied to throughout my marriage, but I'm particularly concerned about the legality of this as clearly her father's companies tax filings were affected, someone pretending to be an employee received group health benefits, she's paid money she didn't earn into social security, and she created a fraudulent work history that she used to get a college professor position. I really just don't understand how any of this can be legal...and if it isn't, am I somehow involved because I was married to her while this was going on. How exposed is my child to really bad things happening to his parents if something were to come of this

Too complicated to attempt to answer here. Consult with your attorney ASAP. If perjury is involved your attorney really needs to know.
