Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I have a friend of mine that was married in newyork. marrage did not work out so he left and moved to florida,and has been liveing there for six years.henow has a new girlfriend and they have a 3year old together and they want to get married is it possible for him todo so even if there has been no contact from his other no phone calls doesnot even now where she is.

Is it possible for him to get married or get divorced? Which are you asking about?

Obviously, he can't get married until he divorces his first wife. He can file for divorce in Florida, but he has to make a serious attempt to find his wife to serve her with papers. He shoud speak with a lawyer to learn how to locate her or learn how to file for divorce if she can't be located.
