Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
grandchild visiting
Our granddaughter lives with her mother and our son pays child support. She will be coming from Indiana to Florida to visit for 4-6 weeks. Do we need to have written permission from her mother who has legal custody to take her out of state and also what do we need to have in case we need to seek medical attention for her.

Re: grandchild visiting
You should, I would hate for you to get a kidnapping charge. Also, the mother can write out that you may seek medical attention for her in the event of an emergency. Make sure there's adequate information such as her date of birth, social & witnesses.
