husband abandons family, family is used to certain way of living what is he liab

My husband walked out and left me and my 5year old son,3 yr old daughter. For no reason, he states he wants a divorce but has yet to sit down with me to talk about it. He does not come by to see the kids. I have bills due soon so I need to know how to go about it.
